Wallet and Property Management Guide

Introduction to Realis Worlds

The Realis Worlds Property Management plugin is a Minecraft plugin that allows players to claim, buy, sell, and manage properties in-game using the Solana blockchain for secure transactions. The plugin uses the $REALIS token for all property transactions and provides a comprehensive system for property management.

Note: While blockchain integration is available, it is entirely optional. You can enjoy all the property management features without using the wallet functionality.

Note: Before public release, blockchain back-end integrations will be moved to a web-interface and therefore all blockchain functionality will be performed outside of Minecraft. This is to comply with Mojang's terms and conditions and still facilitate a realistic world under the vision that the Realis Worlds team has in mind.

Wallet Management

Getting Started with Your Wallet

Realis Worlds uses Solana wallets to manage property transactions. Here's how to get set up:

  1. Creating a wallet: Wallets are created automatically for you when you join Realis Worlds for the first time.
  2. Link your email to receive your wallet details with /wallet link [email protected]
  3. Fund your wallet with a small amount of $REALIS (about $2 worth) and SOL (about $1 worth)

Important: You only need to fund a very small amount of $REALIS and SOL to participate in the property market during the beta phase. These tokens can be sent to your wallet address which you'll receive by email after linking your email to your account.

Wallet Integration

The wallet system is designed to be simple and secure. After linking your email, you'll receive:

  • Your public key (wallet address) where you can send funds
  • Information on how to view your wallet balance

All in-game property transactions will use your wallet, providing a secure and transparent record of ownership.

Wallet Commands

CommandDescription
/wallet createCreate a new wallet for your Minecraft account
/wallet balanceCheck your $REALIS token balance
/wallet solbalanceCheck your SOL balance
/wallet addressShow your wallet address
/wallet pay <player> <amount>Send $REALIS tokens to another player
/wallet link <[email protected]>Link your email to your wallet to receive your wallet details
/wallet helpDisplay help information about wallet commands

Email Linking: The /wallet link <[email protected]> command is particularly important as it sends you your wallet address which you can then fund for property transactions. In the future, all transactions will be recorded and can be configured to be sent to your e-mail address for your own record keeping.

Property Management

Realis Worlds allows you to own and manage properties (chunks of land) in the Minecraft world. Properties offer several benefits:

  • Protected building areas where only you and trusted players can build
  • Ability to respawn at your property after death
  • Option to sell properties to other players for $REALIS tokens
  • Full management through both commands and a user-friendly GUI
  • View your properties on map.realisworlds.com

Each property corresponds to a chunk in the Minecraft world (16x16 block area). When you own a property, you have full control over who can build, destroy, use, and interact in that area.

Main Command: /property - Opens the property management GUI

The main menu gives you access to:

  • Property Management - Access your properties and management tools
  • Property Permissions - Manage trusted players on your properties
  • Marketplace - Buy and sell properties

My Properties Menu

Lists all your properties with status indicators:

  • Gold Ore - Properties you own (not for sale)
  • Redstone Ore - Properties you've listed for sale

Clicking on a property opens its management menu.

Individual Property Menu

When viewing a specific property, you can:

  • Set as Respawn - Make this property your respawn point
  • Sell Property - List the property for sale at your chosen price
  • Show Area - Preview the property boundaries with particles
  • View Trust List - See and manage trusted players

Marketplace Menu

The marketplace allows you to:

  • Browse all properties listed for sale
  • Filter by price range or location
  • Make offers on properties
  • Purchase properties instantly at the listed price

Tip: The GUI system is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive. Most property management tasks can be completed through the GUI without memorizing commands.

Buying and Selling Properties

Purchasing Your First Property

  1. Explore the world to find an unclaimed chunk you like
  2. Stand in the chunk and use /property to open the GUI
  3. Click on the chunk to view purchase options
  4. Confirm the purchase (requires $REALIS tokens in your wallet)

Selling Your Property

You can list your properties for sale at any price you choose:

  1. Use /property sell <price> while standing on your property
  2. Or use the GUI: /property → My Properties → Select Property → Sell Property
  3. Your property will appear in the marketplace for other players
  4. You retain full control of the property until it's sold

Making Offers

Can't afford the listed price? Make an offer:

  • Use /property offer <price> [propertyId]
  • Property owners can accept or reject offers
  • You can view your pending offers with /property offers

Market Tip: Properties near spawn, community areas, or with unique features typically command higher prices. Consider location and development potential when pricing your properties.

Trust Management

Property trust allows you to give other players specific permissions on your property. This is perfect for collaborative builds or allowing friends to use your property.

Trust Commands

CommandDescription
/property trust <player> <level> [propertyId]Grant trust to a player (levels: use, build, manage)
/property untrust <player> [propertyId]Remove all trust from a player
/property trustlist [propertyId]View all trusted players and their permission levels

Trust Levels Explained

Use Trust

Players can interact with doors, chests, buttons, and other interactive blocks

Build Trust

Players can place and break blocks (includes Use Trust permissions)

Manage Trust

Players can grant/revoke trust to others (includes all permissions)

Warning: Be careful with Manage Trust - players with this level can grant trust to others on your property!

Property Taxes

Properties in Realis Worlds have a simple tax system to encourage active use and prevent hoarding of prime locations.

Tax Details

  • Tax rate: Currently set at a minimal amount per property
  • Taxes are paid automatically from your wallet balance
  • Tax periods occur regularly (weekly/monthly depending on server settings)
  • You'll receive notifications before taxes are due

What Happens If You Can't Pay?

If your wallet doesn't have enough $REALIS to cover taxes:

  1. You'll receive warning notifications
  2. A grace period allows time to fund your wallet
  3. After the grace period, the property may be reclaimed by the system
  4. Reclaimed properties become available for other players to purchase

Tax Tip: Keep a small balance of $REALIS in your wallet to ensure automatic tax payments. The amount is intentionally kept low to not burden players.

Property Respawn Feature

One of the key benefits of owning property is the ability to set it as your respawn point.

Setting Your Respawn

  • Use /property setrespawn [propertyId] to set a property as your respawn
  • Or use the GUI: Select your property → "Set as Respawn"
  • You can only have one active respawn property at a time
  • Setting a new respawn automatically removes the previous one

How It Works

When you die in the game:

  1. If you have a respawn property set, you'll respawn there
  2. If not, you'll respawn at the world spawn point
  3. Your respawn property must be owned by you (not just trusted)
  4. Selling a property automatically removes it as your respawn

Strategic Tip: Set respawn points at properties near areas where you frequently adventure or build. This saves travel time after death!
